Our students are drawn from across the world and come to Edinburgh motivated by a high level of commitment towards the study of film curation; and by developing their own skills and knowledge base. Many, but not all, of our students have previous experience working within film exhibition; some, but by no means all, have previous academic experience in the study of film.
The programme requires a 2:1 or equivalent undergraduate degree. It does not require previous study or professional experience in film exhibition but your application should demonstrate both an informed understanding of the nature of the programme and its field; and an indication of your interest in and orientation towards this programme of study.
We welcome applications from all students who demonstrate an aptitude and an orientation towards the study of film exhibition.
