Really fantastic screening of Antonia Bird’s ‘Safe’ last night. Emotional honest storytelling with powerful performances from all especially Kate Hardie and Aiden Gillen. Kate presented the film as part of a series she’s programmed with the gorgeous Arthouse Cinema in Crouchend about women and film. Kate’s intro was superb — raised the house with thunderous applause.
