These programmes are designed to make students familiar with major concepts of filmmaking and theories of film, and to provide them with analytical and critical tools for the investigation of individual films, to be discussed in relation to specific movements and genres. Students can also apply for an option involving the making of a short documentary. Seminars with professionals (journalists, directors, festival organizers, programmers, publishers) as well as papers by specialists on a variety of topics will be offered throughout the year.
